Butters up! Get it? It's baseball season and Butters is looking for a home run!
To be honest, Butters isn't a hardcore ball player, but he'll definitely hang out with you while you watch baseball on television. Butters will train like he's playing in the majors, though! He is strong and energetic and appreciates a good amount of exercise--long walks with his human are his favorite sort of workout. He likes his Kong stuffed with peanut butter, and Nylabones, or both!
Butters is housetrained and sleeps in his crate at night (he goes right in when you tell him to go to his "house"). He knows "sit" and "stay" and mostly follows those commands, especially if you have a treat or two. Once you put his food bowl down in front of him he waits until you say "yes" to start eating. You don't even need secret hand signals!
Butters gets along with other dogs, but is too rough with the felines. He needs a home with no or older kids (no Bantam or Little League players for Butters).
